Alaska Native Heritage Center

The Alaska Native Heritage Center offers an immersive experience into the diverse cultures of Alaska's Indigenous people. Visitors can engage with the traditions and lifestyles of Alaska's 11 major cultural groups through various interactive activities. The center features storytelling sessions where tales passed down through generations are shared, along with demonstrations of traditional Native Games that have been played for centuries. Music and dance performances provide a glimpse into the rich artistic expressions of these cultures, allowing participants to connect with the history and practices of Alaska Native communities.

Set on 26 acres of scenic woodland, the center includes six life-sized Native dwellings surrounding Lake Tiulana. These structures offer a look into how different groups adapted to their environments and lived in harmony with nature. As part of a team building experience, groups can explore these dwellings together, fostering a sense of unity and shared learning. Engaging with the center's resources encourages collaboration and communication among participants as they discover new perspectives on cultural heritage and traditions.
