Overview
Life Labs offers a 2 1/2 hour workshop led by certified teacher Rachel Shapiro. The session provides an opportunity to engage in hands-on activities such as making Puffy Sidewalk Chalk from scratch with everyday household items. Participants can explore creativity away from digital screens by learning new crafting skills in a supportive environment.
In addition to creating colorful sidewalk chalk, attendees also have the chance to construct bird feeders using popsicle sticks. This activity allows individuals to craft something that can be enjoyed on a daily basis, fostering a sense of accomplishment. Each participant leaves with at least two colors of sidewalk chalk and a custom-made bird feeder complete with bird seed, allowing for continued enjoyment and interaction with the projects outside of the workshop.
