Welcome & Setup

Our Host will greet the group, setting the stage for a collaborative competition designed to forge bonds faster than the line at Franklin BBQ. We’ll outline the 90-minute roadmap of games specifically designed to strengthen teamwork skills.
Team Formation & Initial Challenges

10 minutes

In the team formation round, participants work together to choose a team name and assign a spokesperson. This phase plays a pivotal role in establishing the necessary structure and promoting positive group interactions, regardless of group size. Groups solidify dynamics and practice their teamwork with their first set of tasks.
Austin Jeoparty

25 minutes

Teams work together to answer Austin-themed questions from our specially designed Jeoparty Board app. Teams can pick between a 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 point question. After picking a question, each team has 10 seconds to lock in an answer. If they get it wrong, other teams get a chance to steal the points. In classic gameshow fashion, all answers must be phrased in the form of a question.
Price Hike

25 minutes

Teams work together to guess the price of a items related to Austin’s small business culture, aiming to get as close to the correct answer as possible. The farther they are from the correct answer, the more their character climbs up a cliff. If teams fall off the cliff, they are disqualified from earning more points for that round. There will be several different rounds with a number of different objects. This game promotes collective critical thinking and the ability to work together under pressure.
Final Jeoparty!

10 minutes

Teams get the chance to decide how many points they wager, then we ask a question related to Austin lore. If a team gets the answer correct, the points they wagered are doubled. If a team gets the answer incorrect, they lose all points they wagered. This round pairs a general knowledge quiz with group decision-making.
Winners & Wrap-Up

10 minutes

Your hosts will carefully tally up the points, announcing the winners and culminating the event in a tone of celebration and unity. In commemoration, our team will capture a group photo and the event will conclude with an uplifting team cheer.
