Office Action Hero is a wildly interactive event that will prepare you to safely fake fight your friends! Obviously it’s fun and exciting, but these methods and processes aren’t just for show - they help foster a team environment that promotes clear and efficient communication.

Armed with only your two fists, you will learn all of the basics that make your favorite action stars so engaging. And the best part - you do all your own “stunts!”

Safety is key in this brawl between buddies! We'll learn all the techniques that the pros use to throw punches, sell hits, and knock each other around without a single bump or bruise. All the secrets of movie magic in the palm of your fist!

It's all about the showdown though… You'll show off your skills in a brief but epic fight with your coworkers that will be filmed just like the stunt teams do it! You'll walk away from this event with digital copy of the video of your fight as tangible proof that you are *not* to be messed with!

When you fight your friends, everybody wins!

Your Stunt Coordinator and Fight Choreographer will be Leighton Schlanger. He has choreographed fights that have appeared on Broadway (A Bronx Tale), Off-Broadway, New York City Opera, and in theaters all over the country. He has also stunt coordinated and been a stunt double on numerous films. You may have seen his acting work on Netflix's Mindhunter, HBO's Gossip Girl, and CBS's FBI.

Intro / Icebreaker

5 minutes

Safety is our top priority! To that end, we'll use this time to introduce your instructor and some guidelines so everyone is comfortable they're in safe hands. We'll also start bringing people together with an icebreaker before bringing people together with our fists.
Warm-Up Fight Game

15 minutes

A carefully curated battle royale with foam knives! This provides a fun and competitive way to get warmed up while also preparing ourselves for the mentality of a stage fight. Only one fighter can come out on top!
Technique & Choreography

50 minutes

The heart of the event - we learn how to stunt fight! We'll go over the ins and outs of basic stunt fighting techniques, slowly building to learning the choreography for our big brawl finale!
Sound, Camera, ACTION!

20 minutes

We film! We'll capture your big team Brawl on film just like the stunt teams do. After we finish filming, you'll get to view some of the raw footage before it heads to the editor!

Warm up with some friendly competition using foam knives
You'll learn various film fighting techniques (punches, blocks, avoids, etc.) to prepare for the final fight!
You'll learn fight choreography just like the professional stunt folks do!
We'll film your big brawl in a cinematic fashion that'll bring your action movie to life! These short films will be edited and sent to you after the event.

Close-toed shoes are required
Clothing you're comfortable moving around in will be important - we'll be working up a bit of a sweat!
We need a decently sized open space with no obstacles so we all have room to be “fighting” at the same time.
All participants must sign a waiver prior to participating in this event (standard for any event requiring physical activity).
