How it works
ICEovation specializes in creating custom, hand-carved ice sculptures tailored to various events and special occasions. Whether it's a wedding, birthday party, retirement celebration, or a grand opening, Ice Artist James Stugart brings imagination to life through his intricate ice designs. Besides providing ready-made sculptures, the company offers an interactive experience by having James carve live at events, adding a unique visual element for guests to enjoy.
For those interested in learning the craft, ICEovation conducts workshops where participants can try their hand at carving ice using chisels. This hands-on approach allows groups to work together creatively, offering a chance for employees to engage in a shared activity outside the office environment. Organizing such activities can be an effective way for companies to encourage collaboration and strengthen connections among team members.

Our Review
Updated
Our first impression of ICEovation's team building activity is that it offers a unique and creative experience for teams looking to step out of the traditional office setting. The opportunity to engage in ice sculpting workshops provides a refreshing break from typical team building exercises, allowing participants to tap into their artistic sides while fostering collaboration. This hands-on activity can be particularly beneficial for creative teams who thrive on visual and tactile experiences, as it encourages them to think outside the box and work together toward a common goal.
However, one thing to keep in mind is that this activity may not be the best fit for analytical teams or those with members who might be less comfortable with artistic tasks. Additionally, larger groups might find it challenging to ensure everyone gets ample hands-on time with the ice carving tools, which could limit engagement for some participants. For small or newly formed teams, ICEovation's workshops offer an excellent opportunity to build rapport and establish communication channels in an informal setting. Established teams might also find value in this experience as a way to break routine and inject some creativity into their dynamics. Overall, ICEovation provides a distinctive platform for team building that combines artistry with collaboration, though it's essential to consider the specific needs and preferences of your team before diving into this icy adventure.
