How it works
Rinx is a large ice arena complex that offers a range of activities centered around ice sports and events. The facility includes four full-sized, NHL-quality ice rinks, providing ample space for groups to engage in activities like ice hockey or figure skating. Beyond the ice, Rinx houses a full-service restaurant where groups can gather for meals or meetings. There are dedicated event spaces available, making it convenient for companies to host various functions or workshops.
In addition to its sports facilities, Rinx provides an environment conducive to fostering collaboration and camaraderie among colleagues. With options for both on-ice activities and off-ice gatherings in meeting rooms, the complex caters well to workplace teams looking for a unique setting to strengthen their connections. Whether it's through friendly matches on the ice or discussions over a meal, the venue offers versatile opportunities for group interaction and engagement.

Our Review
Updated
Our first impression of Rinx is that it presents a dynamic and engaging environment for team building, particularly for those who enjoy physical activity and sports. The facility's four NHL-quality ice rinks offer an exciting backdrop for both competitive and recreational ice sports, making it an ideal choice for athletic teams or those looking to inject some physicality into their team-building efforts. The presence of a full-service restaurant and dedicated event spaces further enhances its appeal by providing opportunities for teams to unwind and reflect after their activities.
One thing to keep in mind is that Rinx may not be the best fit for teams that are less inclined towards physical activities or those with members who have mobility concerns. While the venue offers off-ice meeting spaces, the primary focus remains on ice-related activities, which might not resonate with more analytical or creative teams seeking less physically demanding options. However, for established teams looking to boost camaraderie through shared experiences on the ice, or new teams aiming to break the ice—quite literally—Rinx provides a unique setting that encourages interaction and teamwork in a fun and energetic way.
