Our Review
Updated
Our take on Sandbox VR is that it offers a compelling team-building experience for groups looking to dive into immersive virtual worlds. The use of full-body motion capture and high-quality haptics creates an engaging environment where participants can truly feel part of the action. This setup is particularly beneficial for creative teams or those who thrive on interactive and dynamic challenges. The scenarios offered, from futuristic adventures to mystery quests, require effective communication and collaboration, making it a valuable exercise in teamwork.
One thing to keep in mind is that while Sandbox VR is ideal for small groups of up to six people, larger teams may find it challenging to participate simultaneously, potentially requiring multiple sessions or rotations. New teams might benefit from the shared objectives and cooperative nature of the games, helping break the ice and build rapport quickly. However, more analytical teams might find the emphasis on physical interaction less aligned with their typical problem-solving approaches. Overall, Sandbox VR provides a unique opportunity for colleagues to connect outside the traditional office setting, fostering stronger relationships through shared virtual adventures.
