Team Building Foundations: Equine Workshop

Move beyond traditional team-building with an immersive, fun, equine-assisted experience at Tacktics! Set on a private 200-acre property, teams engage in hands-on obstacle courses with horses; powerful partners that mirror communication, trust, and leadership in real time. This course is led by internationally certified emotional intelligence coaches and equine-assisted learning facilitators. Team Building Foundations develops self-awareness, strengthens collaboration, team cohesion and enhances authentic communication in a quiet, outdoor setting. Participants slow down, refocus, and build meaningful connections while gaining practical insights they can immediately apply back in the workplace. Note: There is no horseback riding and no horse experience needed.

Welcome

Briefing

We begin in the classroom for a briefing on the training objectives.
Arena Course

Participants get to spend a couple minutes grooming and getting to know the horse they'll be working with. Then, they begin the series of obstacles/activities as our facilitators step-in highlighting powerful learning moments, always bringing them back to the objectives.
Debrief

Back in the classroom, participants will begin our structured debrief of their training and their ah-ha moments in the arena.

Closed-toe shoes are required! There is no horseback riding, and no horse experience is needed. If any of your team members are nervous around large horses, we have miniature horses (like the size of a large dog) that can work alongside you instead!
