Each guest leaves with a custom 8oz candle they crafted themselves and a recipe card to remember how they made their unique creation.

Welcome, Intro & Icebreaker Games

10 minutes

Hosts launch into the event with an active icebreaker, encouraging guests to share strong opinions, and work together in some introductory trivia. This introduces the “World of ScentLab” for the rest of our time together.
Candle-Making Workshop & Games

50 minutes

This 4-part workshop is the heart of ScentLab. Interactive games help illuminate the learning side of fragrances and candle-making. Guests work together to create custom scent combinations, measure, and pour their candles. They end this section by naming their scents, creating their own custom candle labels and filling out their “Secret Recipe Cards”.
Trivia Meltdown!

20 minutes

Workshop Pods are rearranged for TRIVIA MELTDOWN. Questions are based on the science of smell, history of candles, the world of candle makers, pop culture, etc…!
Gloat & Tell

10 minutes

Trivia Pods share their candles with each other, discuss unexpected scent pairings, cool scent names, and choose 2 standouts to share with the whole group. A Group Photo is taken with everyone's candle and the whole team’s creativity is celebrated, leaving everyone feeling more connected and proud of what they’ve accomplished!

All candle-making materials, including 24 different fragrance oils!
Candle Labels and “Recipe Cards” to remember your creative work
Comprehensive workshop designed around creating a custom scent while spending quality time with your team
Candid team photos taken throughout and shared with you after the event

You provide the space, we’ll take care of everything else!
Event space should have a Host Table with access to a reliable power source, as well as small tables for group creative work.
A/V for a slideshow (HDMI hookup) is a huge plus!
45 minute pre-event access to the space (or a nearby power source) is helpful, as we need time to melt the wax
You can book for your estimated # of guests and an increased guest count may be updated within 7 days of the event date. Supplies will be provided for a minimum of 20 candles.
