How it works

AI Team Hackathon is a 120-minute hands-on session where participants learn one selected AI tool, then apply it directly to a real workplace challenge.

Before the event, your facilitator meets with the organizer for a consultation call to select the best AI tool for the group, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or Gamma. During the session, the facilitator introduces the chosen tool’s core capabilities, limitations, and practical use cases.

Participants then move into the hackathon portion of the event, working in small teams to identify a recurring task, workflow, or challenge from their roles and use AI to build a practical solution. Teams experiment with prompts, test ideas, improve their outputs, and discuss where the tool helps, where it falls short, and where human judgment still matters.

The session wraps with teams sharing what they created and what they learned.
 
Participants leave with hands-on AI experience, a stronger shared understanding of how to use AI at work, and a concrete starting point for bringing AI into their day-to-day workflows.

    Hands-on intro to the AI tool -- live demo, key tips for getting useful output, and time to try a first prompt yourself.
  3. Challenge Pick & Team Formation

    Teams form (3–4 people) and quickly identify the real work challenge they'll tackle.
  4. Hackathon Build Time
    40 minutes
    Teams tackle their real challenge using AI. Facilitator coaches each team actively in breakout rooms.
  5. Team Presentations

  • You can book for an estimated number of guests and update it up to 3 days before your event. Added guests are invoiced at the per-person rate and removed guests receive credits.

  • All participants need a computer with webcam, microphone, and internet connection capable of video calls. No downloads required.

  • Flat rate of $2,000 for up to 20 people. Additional guests may be added at $50 per person.

  • Before the event, participants should have access to the selected AI tool on their computer. This may include ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Gamma, or a similar platform. Free accounts are usually fine, unless your organization requires use of an approved enterprise version.

  • No technical experience is required. This session works well for complete beginners, as well as teams already experimenting with AI.

  • Teams with strict data security, privacy, or compliance requirements should confirm which AI tools are approved by their organization before the event.
