At the start of the event, the guide will great team members at the entrance of The Met and initiate an engaging icebreaker round. These thought-provoking icebreakers are specifically designed to boost participation and establish meaningful connections.
Down To Party Challenge

5 minutes

The Down to Party Challenge is a quick scavenger hunt activity that inspires attendees to find a figure in a piece of art who seems like they would be stoked to have a good time together. This mini game upturns common expectations for a museum tour, gets groups moving, and reframes visitors' mindsets to create personal connections to museum pieces.
Tour stops + games

70 minutes

Guides shepherd tourgoers through The Met, stopping at key locations to bring group focus towards certain pieces or exhibits and share fascinating facts and stories that help guests experience the museum in new and exciting ways. Tours dive deep into eight to ten pieces of art, many of which are lesser known yet have fascinating background stories. Guides impart these histories using Museum Hack's signature storytelling framework and through a diversity lens that reframes the traditional narratives and voices expected in these institutions. Along the way, there will also be interactive group games such picutre challenges – and perhaps even a photobomb or two!
Group photo and wrap-up

5 minutes

At the end of the experience, the guide will take a photo of the group striking a memorable pose among an exhibit, and will lead the group in final thoughts and reflections.

You can book for an estimated number of guests and update it up to 7 days before your event. Added guests are invoiced at the per-person rate and removed guests receive credits.

For teams of 11+, we'll arrange another tour guide to set your team up into two groups to keep the experience small, intimate, and exceptional.
