    Our expert storyteller host will welcome attendees and provide a detailed overview of what lies ahead. This informative introduction ensures that your guests are know what to expect from the workshop and warm them up to start brainstorming their best anecdotes.
  2. Intro to our storytelling principles
    10 minutes
    The host introduces the proprietary storytelling framework that Museum Hack guides and teambuilding.com event hosts have used for over a decade to engage audiences and deliver powerful messages.
  3. Example story
    5 minutes
    Our storymaster will demonstrate these techniques by sharing a sample story that incorporates all five essential elements of effective storytelling.
  4. Detailed breakdown of the elements with exercises
    40 minutes
    Workshop attendees will learn the key components through a comprensive, play-by-play study of each individual elements. Each section will include explanation, examples, tips, and practice. These lessons are designed to suit learners of all styles and paces and make these concepts intelligible and instantly applicable to a wide audience.
  5. Write your own stories
    25 minutes
    Participants will immediately apply what they have learned by heading into breakout rooms to craft a story as a team. This step exists so that attendees can practice the concepts and better retain this new knowledge. Writing collectively ensures that participants will be comfortable sharing with the wider team, and that everyone has an opportunity for feedback regardless of time constraints. Plus, in work settings, teams often need to work together to craft messages, and the process of group storytelling differs from solo storytelling.
  6. Story share-outs
    15 minutes
    Attendees will reconvene in the main room, and each designated team representative will share their story with the wider group. Hosts and participants will offer feedback.
  7. Debrief + future applications
    20 minutes
    The host will recap the highlights of what the group has learned and created over the course of the past two hours, and give tips and examples of how attendees can use and leverage these new abilities outside of this workshop.
